Rydorgo is the app delivery riders use to take and deliver food orders for restaurants that sell online with Prassadam. Prassadam runs Rydorgo. This page says what the app collects, why, where it is kept and how to have it deleted.
Who can use the app
Delivery riders aged 18 or over. You sign up in the app with your phone number; Prassadam checks your documents before you can go on shift. The app is not meant for customers or for children.
What the app collects and why
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your phone number, name and password | To create your rider account and sign you in. The password is stored only as a one-way hash. |
| Date of birth, home address and PIN code, an emergency contact, your city | To check you are 18 or over, to know where you ride, and to reach someone if you have an accident on a trip. |
| Vehicle type and number, and photos of your driving licence, vehicle RC, Aadhaar (front and back) and PAN card, and a selfie | To verify who you are and that you may ride, as the law and our delivery partners require. Your selfie is your profile photo. Only the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar are stored; PAN and licence numbers are stored encrypted and only their last 4 digits are ever shown. |
| Bank account holder, account number and IFSC, or a UPI ID | To pay your earnings. The account number is stored encrypted and only its last 4 digits are ever shown. |
| Your precise location, only while you are on shift | To offer you orders near you, show the restaurant and the customer where their order is, measure trip distance for your pay, and keep riders safe. While you are on shift a notification is always showing; go off shift and location stops. The app does not track you when you are off shift. |
| Your trips, the orders you accepted or declined, earnings, bonuses and payouts | To run deliveries and pay you correctly. |
| A notification token, the app version and crash reports | To alert you to new orders even when the app is closed, to ask you to update an old version, and to fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics: technical details of the crash, no documents or location history). |
The camera is used only when you choose to photograph a document or take your selfie. The app does not read your contacts, messages or files, shows no ads and contains no advertising trackers. The spoken order alert is made by the phone's own text-to-speech engine, on the device.
Permissions the app asks for
- Location - while you are on shift, as above, through a visible "on shift" notification.
- Notifications and full-screen alerts - so a new order rings even when the phone is locked.
- Battery optimisation - you may let Rydorgo run without being stopped by the phone, so you keep getting orders on shift.
- Camera - for your documents and selfie, only when you choose.
Who it is shared with
- The restaurant and the customer of an order you carry see your first name, phone number and live position until it is delivered, so they can find you and call you.
- Prassadam staff see your application and documents to verify you, and your trips and earnings to pay you.
- Service providers that run the service for us, only for that purpose: our servers and database (hosted in Singapore and Mumbai), private document storage (Supabase), Google Firebase for notifications and crash reports, and Google Maps to measure road distance.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Security
Everything between the app and our servers travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your documents are in private storage that only our servers can open; Prassadam staff see them through links that expire in minutes.
How long it is kept
Your account and documents are kept while you ride with Rydorgo. Trip, earnings and payout records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require, without your name once your account is deleted.
Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → Delete my account. Your name, phone number, documents, bank details, date of birth, address, emergency contact and location are deleted at once and you are signed out on every phone. If you no longer have the app, ask on the account deletion page; we delete it within 30 days. An account cannot be deleted while you are carrying an order or are still owed money - call support to be paid first. Trip and payout records stay, without your name, as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
