PrassadamThese terms apply to every restaurant owner and kitchen staff member who signs in to the Prassadam Kitchen app or the kitchen board. Signing in means you accept them on behalf of yourself and the restaurant you work for.
Your login
- A kitchen login belongs to one restaurant, and may be limited to one branch. Use it only for that restaurant's orders.
- Keep the email and password to yourself. Everything done with a login - accepting an order, moving it on, changing stock - is recorded as done by that login.
- The restaurant owner can switch a login off at any time; it then stops working on every device at once.
The orders you receive
Each order shows what you need to prepare and hand it over:
- the restaurant branch and its pickup address;
- the customer's name, delivery address with the spot they pinned on the map, and phone number;
- Prassadam's order number;
- the items and number of packages;
- the food ready time;
- the order value; and
- any special instructions from the customer.
Act on new orders promptly - accept or decline them, and move them on as they are cooked. Keep the menu's stock accurate: mark a dish out of stock as soon as it runs out, so customers are not charged for food that cannot be made.
Handing the order to the rider
- Have the order ready, sealed and handed to the rider at the pickup time, with a responsible person present at the pickup point.
- At the customer's door the rider asks for the delivery OTP sent to the customer, and enters it in the rider app to record that the order was delivered. Never ask a customer for their code.
Customer information
Customer names, phone numbers and addresses are shown to you only so the order can be prepared and handed over. Do not copy them, contact customers for any other purpose, or share them with anyone outside the restaurant.
Food, allergens and notes
The restaurant is responsible for the food: what is in it, how it is prepared and packed, and reading every note a customer leaves - especially an allergy.
The app and the board
- Keep the app updated. An update can be required before the app keeps working.
- New-order alerts depend on the phone: sound on, notifications allowed and battery optimisation switched off for the app. Settings in the app can test this.
- The app and the board may change, and features may be added or removed.

Changes
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new date, and the app asks you to accept it at your next sign-in.
